Drugs & Alcohol

ACB's Drugs and Alcohol Policy is applicable to all ACB employed personnel (whether full or part-time), and any contractor, part-time or temporary staff engaged by the Company on any premises anywhere in the world.

Substance abuse (drugs or alcohol) is taken very seriously by ACB and will not be tolerated.  In the event that an employee denies he/she has been taking substances, the matter will be left to the Police to decide.

Should an employee appear to be under the influence of drugs or alcohol, the Company's disciplinary procedures will be instigated.

Any employee found taking drugs or testing positive for drugs or alcohol will be subject to the Company's disciplinary procedures, which may result in dismissal.

Any employee taking prescribed drugs must notify ACB at their earliest opportunity.  Should ACB become aware that an employee is taking prescribed drugs but has not notified ACB, the employee will be subject to ACB's disciplinary procedures.
