ACB was initially set up to remove harmful radioactive material from the environment and ensure their safe keeping at a National storage facility. To this end, the material volume is reduced as much as possible where it is safe to do so.
Any arisings from this size reduction will follow a recycling route rather than go to landfill, wherever possible.
This aside, it is ACB Management's desire that all Company activities are, wherever practicable, carried out with the minimum impact on the environment.
